sxe111
Quick question and any advise or input also welcome. Ive got my 2.2 from a 95 legacy going into an 86 Brat. The Legacy is an automatic and I will be using the 4speed Brat trans until I find a 5speed. I ordered the xt clutch set but the one Schucks gave me was wrong, I've had this problem before. No biggie, I will just keep ordering and returning it until they get it right. I also got the Nisson 720 thowout bearing. Here is my question. Is the Nisson thowout bearing suppose to fit so loosely on the transmission input shaft?
Numbchux
Yep. the throwout bearing doesn't need to be a snug fit on the input shaft. as long as it seats properly on the pressure plate and clutch fork.
sxe111
Ok good. I was worried that they had messed up 2/3 of my order. I wouldn't put it past them. I would go to Napa if it had to be right the first time but Schucks is cheaper and they take anything back. Thanks for the help, it must be late for you.
