i was trying to save money. My PS CV is gone. I have a perfectly fine 2.5rs front end laying around and figured it was worth a try. Is it pointless?

There are about 20 EA82's in the yards down the hill.

That's your best bet.

All you need is a 5 lug swap, using Impreza or Legacy front hubs and a trany with 25 spline axels. say RX FTAWD D/R. or Turbo S/R.
