1989 XT-6
169,000 miles
Very very little rust...Maybe 6 spots that add up to less than quarter size each, all surface only
Used to be black, now it's white with a black roof and mirrors.
5sp, Full Time AWD, 3.90 NON-LSD
Non factory sun roof
Front air struts replaced with coil overs
Rear air shocks still present and set up to be filled with regular compressor.
Left rear axle shaft missing. (Yeah, really)
New muffler, timing belt, starter, and rebuilt Cybrid power steering.
Power steering wired to dash switch, otherwise it drains the battery overnight.
Same switch also makes both radiator fans come on.
Passenger side driving light is missing, drivers side is broken
Headlight washers don't work, one tube is broken
Driver's automatic seat belt is broken
Missing bottom plastic from steering colum, and plastic cover from side mirror
Directional alloy wheels
No body emblems or decals
Needs oil pump seals, both leaking and causing low pressure
Front joints click, but only in very tight turns
Glove box knob is in center cosole, and glove box won't open
Lock is missing from rear seat back
Tool and pouch for emergency power seat belt function are missing
Drivers sun visor falls down
Aftermarket non-power antenna, preset #4 dosen't always work
Out temp and average speed on trip computer don't work right
Still runs real strong
Battery was shot
Came with owners manual!

Will post pics come daylight

Best part...$850.00 and only needs lots of little things

Yes, I will be bringing it to the Midwest meet as my 86 Turbo XT won't be ready by then.

Cool I can't wait to see it. I was hoping to have my xt6 ready to go in time but I don't think its gonna happen so I'll just be taking the wagon.

Oh, and it's not really a custom sunroof...just one of those regular aftermarket ones.

that sounds a lot like my current '6....

aftermarket sunroof, for a while the power steering pump was running all the time and was hooked up to a switch to turn it off, and the damn driver's side sun visor is always falling in my face!
