rweddy
I am looking at buying a 96 outback wagon. I commute 100 miles day and wife want me in a car with airbags for safety sake. I love my 91 wagon but is air-bag less. It is a 5spd 2.2 with cold weather package and factory cd changer. It is very low mileage. Is this the same drive train as my 91 Legacy? As far as trannys, diffs, etc? Are the 96 as dead reliable as the 90-94 legacies? Is the AC r-134 or r-12? Thanks

Also what was the first year for the hood scoop? Can I put a newer hood from a 97 or up on a 96?
