subeman90 Posted December 16, 2004 Share Posted December 16, 2004 Here's the story in the shortist version available....I want to buy an sti but the wife says heck no....actually it sounds more like F- no but anyhow I have some strange thoughts in the back of my head... My impreza isn't worth a heck of a lot on trade so I might make a few changes to it (why give it away) I am thinking about making an all motor (read:NA) engine for it. What would you build and what would you use??? I am not made of money and I want to be more than a WRx but realistically I don't think it is possible to build a 300hp NA engine. I have been looking at gears and front lsd's and I have an idea of what i want. In the end I want the car to be able to put more down on the rollers than a WRX and I want some gearing for "excessive speeds" (capable of 150-165 would make me shart my pants) What do you folks think....just remember the catch...I will most likely buy a new car so I can take the 'prez off the road to do this....I need to make car payments and not have a garage queen!
