  1. I'm not sure if anyone on here has one but I do. This is a great car. if you have anyquestions please feel free to ask.
  2. yeah that ship has sailed for me. I tried....and I tried.....and I tried and all it ever did was become more difficult. People say they would buy "club spots" but didn't, others would park in our "club spot" with their non Subaru's and that usually ended with a shouting match or nearly a fist fight a few times...and the Carlisle folks would do nothing to help the situation. Our cars weren't good enough for their standards. They would throw out our people and accuse them of shenanigans but they didn't do what they said they did while other clubs would raise hell and not get kicked out. The final straw was when someone from another club did something in front of security and they did nothing. I called them out (security) and I nearly got myself thrown out. "F" that place....pitty since I am less than an hour from there.

Problem with Eyesight after recall fix

Like what? They did my recall in my OB and I think it is too sensitive now in my opinion.

so it will be orange then? I see you as more of an orange type of guy.
  5. here is something that I found while doing a search. It was written by GeneralDisorder. Anyone have anything to add to this or more precise locations of bolts, nuts, etc.? I want to get a new dash for the 83 and i might have found one..... thanks for all input GD's post: As for removal tips - I just did this job on Saturday, and I can say that removing the windshield (10 minutes with a utility knife) will really make getting to the bolts on the top of the dash much easier. Of course you can't do this on your car, but at the junk yard it certainly would fly, and make your visit more enjoyable. With the windsheild out, it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to get the dash out. I had never pulled one before either, but if you know where all the bolts and nuts are, then it's actually pretty straightforward. Remove the surround, and the guage cluster first, as well as the drivers side kick panel. Remove the glove box door, and insert. And remove the passenger kick panel/shelf. On top of the dash remove the vent louvers, and there will be three or four bolts underneath that hold the dash down.... various nuts and bolts underneath that hold the dash in place, and of course all the wireing has those wraps on it that hold it to the dash. Couple of zip-ties in there too. I just cut those. GD

Turbo Diesel CrossTrek Coming to America in 2015?

I have a letter here from SOA that states that it won't happen due to the cost of certification. Not a form letter either a real typed letter from a real person. I hope I am wrong and they were not truthful I will say that. I want a diesel

Have a question about the Crosstrek? Ask an owner!

I have been thinking all along that i want to take it to a shop for an alignment and have them do it to my specs and not Subarus. My car pulls to the right but there is nothing wrong with the car from what Subaru says.

SO...Any Chance This Could Work on the XV?

I don't have an answer if it will work but I do know that I am only 30k away from my warranty being up so that gives me something to save for in the future. Not sure how my CVT is going to feel about it though.

I hate that delay too. Sometimes it really is unhandy such as 3 pt turns etc.
