viceversa Posted August 25, 2003 Share Posted August 25, 2003 1992 Loyale Started just today. Doesn't pick up any FM stations most of the time, sometimes a few. Same with AM. Cougar Posted August 25, 2003 Share Posted August 25, 2003 I would check the antenna connection in the back of the radio and make sure it is tight. You may also have a coax extension that should be checked. My Loyale had one. Also check the antenna end for a problem and that you have a good ground connection. thealleyboy Posted August 25, 2003 Share Posted August 25, 2003 I agree with Glen, it's likely an antenna/ground problem. You can confirm this by pulling your antenna cable out the back of the radio, and jumping the antenna socket to chassis ground. You can use a wire with an alligator clip at each end for your jumper.
