Is Driveshaft/Chassis Lube Required?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I looked all around the chassis and driveshaft and couldn't find any lube zerts. Am I correct in saying that I won't need my grease gun for my 03 Forester. If not, where are those little suckers.

Many thanks,

Jon

unibody construction = no lubing theframe needed. the u-joints are "lifetime lubed". sounds like you have worked on a lot of american cars or trucks before the forester.

the only time youd find zerks on a suby is if you have replaced the u-joints with an aftermarket replacement.

if im missed anything, let me know.
