switching strut assemblies

Hey,

Just a quick question for the conversion buffs. Could anyone tell me if strut assemblies from a 94 legacy turbo will fit into a 93 impreza L AWD. I've got two blown struts on the Impreza and I was thinking of just replacing all four.

yes. The whole assemblies bolt in directly.

I just had a second question regarding these struts. One of my struts in blown so I'm replacing them all. Does anyone know if changing these would affect ride height/quality? I'm assuming because it's a much heavier car and due to it being more performance oriented it would be a firmer ride? I've only ever ridden in one beat up old leggy turbo so it's probably a poor example.

your car is going to sit about... 1.5-2" taller i'd say. it might also feel funny at first, because like you said, your car is lighter than the car the asssemblies were made for.
