ezapar
So. I'm keeping the 4X140. What's involved in swapping in an ej trans? Can I just swap cups, or do I have to cut an dsplice two axles together? Thanks.

Thanks. The EJ trannys have 25 spline stub axles in the front. If an EA82 25 spline cup can fit in an EA81 23 spline DOJ joint then it will work or you might be able to use an EA82 axle outright if it isn't too long. GLCraig
You're probably will want to use axles from a EA82 with a 25 spline DOJ. They may need to be shortened to fit, but they'll handle the EJ power and big tires a lot better. You might consider using EA82 front knuckles and brakes too. GLCraig
Another option would be to weld the center diff, and do a T-case mod.
