  1. http://www.offroaders.com/info/tech-corner/lightforce/ here is a good enough spot..seems like no matter what site i go to they are all pretty much the same ..get your power from the battery and remember to turn em off (yea right ) or hook em up to the accessory side so the power is killed with the key. Pay Attention to the wire size like stated above..melted some in my younger and dumber years..its called live and learn for a reason
  2. well unless you have a brat thats going through drainge tunnels under the roads i wouldnt worry. most trails are well established (read full size truck use it). my biggest worry would be them either getting in the way of the t-tops or angle it down and in the way of the back seats/bed area. think id bolt it in the bed like the prerunner baja racers angeld and by the tailgate. OR BETTER YET put it on a low pedastile type base and let the back seat passengers use it for a table when your at sonic :-p
  3. well a buddy of mine did the fiberglass thing to his vw baja, and when he bottomed out the pan he broke the fiberglass and it started to rust there. on my vw i took roofing sealer with fiberglass threads in it and painted my floor boards inside and out. the outside tore a little bit on sharp rocks. i imagine the same would happen to the rubberized undercoating unless it was real tough
