  1. Thanks for the replies. I was sure it was a scam, but I wanted to know if anyoe here ever got the same thing. The email address is a yahoo acount... does that mean it orginated in the states?
  2. Actually, I'd like to see the car go to a Subaru enthusiast or at least someone who can appreciate the mods I've done. But if he's willing to pay my price... Need some guidance here.
  3. I just got an email from a guy who wants to buy my car and import it to West Africa. He said he'll pay me through cashiers check and have someone pick the car up. I'm a little leary about this and I'd like to know if anyone has heard of this before. Thanks! p.s. here's the email that was sent to me: Hello, I saw your advert via the internet and i am interested in the purchase of the Subaru which is $2500,I am a business man in West-Africa who is into importation,I have a local shipper that takes care of my shipping so shipping is no problem, as soon as the transaction is completed my shipper will come to pick it up.my only request is if you will accept a cashier check drawn in American Bank, So if this is ok by you,Kindly let me know your last price offer via email and forward me your phone number. Expecting your urgent response Thanks Hugo
  4. I really do like my Subie, but I really want that Taco... You guys are welcom to say I told ya so if I'm unhappy. Think I'll have a hard time selling it?
  5. Hmmm... my magnaflow is louder than stock, but kind of mellow.
  6. Save them on your hard drive... make sure they're not too big. Go down below and click on the browse button and find the photo you want to attach and double click. Then click submit reply and that's it.
  7. Here's the Magnaflow website. The Muffler I got is the 6" round aluminized. It's definately the 2" inlet/outlet and I think it's offset/offset but don't qote me on that. It's the same as the stock muffler was. You can find them cheap online.
  8. When I first put it on, it was definately louder than stock, but not too loud. After I cut the airbox open it has gotten louder, but still sounds great.
  9. Last one. By the way, I think this was like $40...
  10. I have a 91 Loyale and I replaced my stock muffler with a magnaflow muffler. It's round like the stock one and fits right where the stock one was. From what i remember, inlet/outlet is the same size as the stock piping or it may be a 1/2" bigger. It really doesn't matter. I had the mechanic add a nice flared piece of pipe to look like a tip. I don't remember where I got it, but I'll do a search. Here are some pics:
  11. Tom, How's it going? Nice to hear from you again! Don't get me wrong, I really like my Loyale. Not having a payment is nice. Plus, it runs really strong and is great on gas. I'm looking at a Toyota Tacoma TRD. I've always wanted one and I have the itch to get a new vehicle again. Even if I do get a truck, I may still keep the Loyale. I'm waiting to hear about a job that I applied for and if I get it, I'll get a really nice pay increase and I may just buy the Tacoma. I'm hoping to hear about the job soon, I've been waiting since July.
  12. I'm still trying to decide if I want to sell it. I'm considering buying a new truck and If I do, I'm selling the Loyale.
  13. Other than this website, where can I list my Loyale for sale? Are there any other sites like this where I can reach other Subaru enthusiasts?
  14. There's a dent in the front passenger door and the left front fender is dented. Niether happened while I owned the vehicle.
  15. It's not rust free and there is some minor body damage, but it definitely runs strong. I'd like to see it go to someone who will appreciate it, especially since I modded it a little. I also have a sweet Alpine stereo that cost almost $400 that I'll throw in for $200 more. That includes 4 new speakers. I have to take some pics...
  16. I'm thinking about selling my 91 Loyale wagon and I was wondering if I could get some input on a reasonable price. It has: Approx. 124,000 miles 4wd Magnaflow muffler Open airbox K&N filter New oil pump New timing belt New water pump 4 new tires new CV joints New axle/half shafts newly inspected Oil changed 2 weeks ago I have the receipts to confirm the work that was done. The car also has the typical body rust, but only in small amounts. There are also a few dents and dings and interior wear and tear. What's a reasonble price? I was thinking $2500.
  17. After a few days of driving around after doing the airbox mod, I have to say that my Subie is running Strong! It has a lot more pep and I can definately feel a power increase in the higher RPM's. Between the airbox mod, the Magnaflow muffler and the K&N filter, it has to be up over 100 hp!!!!!
  18. Harry's is near New Ringgold, PA. Not far off I-78 and the new Cabela's!!
