  4. yes its a ea82. I was planing on droping the the diff 2" so the axles dont bind ,but the im worried that torion bar might break if i dont lower the frt part of the rear suspenion. the other thing i was looking for was the frt strut spacers. I've seen other spacers that dont look like they have the camber offset that is needed i am looking for 0 cmber in frt so the tires dont shave the out side edge.

  12. Why dont you use a 1988-90 nissan maxxima alt off the v6. Its 90 amps and depending on the belt you use you need to change the pulley Its internally regulated like the soobies and you can find them in the jy pretty cheap if you get one from the jy make sure to get the plug on the top or side of the alt. and just hook up the small wire on the plug to the small wire on harness and the medium wire to the medium wire. It has the same bolt configuration as the soobies it just has a little larger case so there is no cutting or modification to it I have one on my 86 and it works great have any questions let me know
  13. I have a 86 gl wagon 4x4 that is carbed and I also have a 87 2wdsfi I am think of put the 87 in the 86 or should I wait and invest in a ej2.2 please help steve
  14. josh Do you noice a difference in performance? What size tires are on your car? are you able to use fifth gear? Also what vin number on the engine has the 135hp if there is one? Where do I look for threads on this subject?
  15. I have a 86 gl wagon that Im building a 4" lift and I have been reading the threads on ea to ej engine swaps and I was wondering how to alter wiring harrness work in my wagon? I heard of looping the connectors that wont be used. How do you loop, like the speed sensor and the air bag sensors and the others sensors .when I was looking at the legacy I found two harnesses in the engine compartment which one do I need to make this 2.2 run in my car and will it hook directly to in dash harness viva key switch? I forgot to mention that my car is carbed right now.
  16. that would be cool if we could adapt a lsd from another vehicle. I email a company call right-loc they make a clicker posi like the detroits and he said that I would have to get a lot people to want it designed to keep the cost down for manufactoring and the minium number for the order was 70 units. Its a cool setup all you have to do is replace the spider gears with the right loc setup , there are no shims or special lubs to use.
  17. Has anyone taken a wrx tranny apart with the posi and try to fit the posi in a d/r tranny
  18. Thanks for the help I will look in this.

  22. Thats the some one I have on my car. Now all you need is the pulley and if you want is the plug in for easier installation and make sure to put either a extra wire the same size as the one on the car so it is duel wires like the maxima or put one bigger wire like 10 or 8 gauge so it wont overheat and melt while under heavy load. sorry i forgot to you that wire is the main power wire to the alternator. the pulley and the plug can be purchased at any auto electric shop. The plug wires the same way it has a big and small wire coming from it just cut the old plug hook small to small and large to large . hopefully this helps talk at you later
  23. I did some homework and found that the nissan maxima with a v6 from 86-92 has a 90amp alternator and the only modification is to change the pulley and hook up the nissan plug-in. I put one on my 86 gl wagon and it works great. the alternater cost me 15.00 at the junk yard and 20.00 for pulley. hope this helps
  24. awesome job on the video . that realy kicks
