  1. I just replaced my back-up switch on an 84. Was on the left side. Turn on the key and jumper the wires that run to the switch, lights should come on.
  2. I just put on a set of Hella lights (four lights)on my 84 wagon $$$$$$. Low beam is 55/65, works great. Tried putting in 100 watt on the high beam. It looks like the wiring and or relay dosn't like the large draw on high beam. I'm going to rewire the high beam with a new power supply and relay. If you want to go nuts, try to figure out the wiring circuit. Still looking for the ground circuit. banghead: P.S. After I bought the lights I was told that the larger single lights put out more light that the four light system. :boohoo:
  3. 84 GL wagon 4X4 with four headlights. I have updated the old candles to four new Hella lights, 55/65 watt low beam and 55 on the highs. has anyone tried 100 watt on the high beam without changing out the wiring or upgrading the relays? Thanks, Don.
  4. I have had a lot of problems with "new rebuilt CV joints" some lasting less than 6 months. My last set I got from Raxles http://www.raxles.com. phone # 800-257-8192. Kind of spendy but all of the parts are new not rebuilt. Hope that helps, Don.
