  1. Hot car, Cold day. My little 69 Subaru 360 Sedan with flames has been sitting patiently for months. I've been involved resurecting other cars like my Honda 600's and havent had time to drive this one. What a little gem!. Charged the battery and she starts right up. I was expecting it to smoke out the neighborhood on startup like it had in the past. Suprisingly very little two stroke smoke was emitted. Quite the normal amount actually......almost like I drove it yesterday. Got the little Subaru up to 65mph .....Making a cold morning hot...
  2. Yes. Most people choose a simple snap on top, not appealing. If you join the Subaru 360 club site, on the forums there are pictures and templates of real Japanese optioned fold back tops, they are complicated but look and function great.
  3. Oh yeah, microcarbroker is always way overpriced. I betcha both the Museum 360 and microcarbrokers 360 need full brake restorations. Subaru 360's that sit always do. I remember back when 360's were given away.
  4. I think my "Hot" Subaru 360 sedan suffered frostbite, and my camera froze up. The rest of town was sunny and warm, luring a huge turnout of gearhead Saturday Cars and Coffee goers into dressing for sun. However, Mother Nature's sick and twisted cross town climate change was cruel at best. The weather out by the airport was socked in with freezing fog. Oh so cold ! :burnout::burnout::burnout::burnout:
  5. You mean you own a 360?
  6. One of our Subaru 360 drivers club members, the almighty " Sigmaz ", is creating a special hybrid motor. His build is documented on the 360 club forums. He's using the Subaru R2 intake reeds, lower engine case, and cylinders mounted to a Subaru 360 bottom end. He is trying to surpass my hot rod Subaru 360 He'll never get there !
  7. Cleaning the cobwebs from the shop to proudly hang the "Isettadude" donated banner of my Subaru 360 with flames on the cover of the Vintage Microcar News issue #1 2007. I still have the car and I actually took the picture in June-July 2004 or 2005 in front a BBQ hot wings joint on North Lombard st. no longer there. It took 5 tries, ether there was too much summer fog, or too many cars parked in the lot to get a good shot of the building. The car now sports white wall tires and red rims, instead of the white rims and thin red line tires as pictured. I will have to thank the Isetta dude for making me clean my shop. Great new years project.
  8. Piece by piece 1969 Subaru 360 Sedan. Making something from nothing, car has been assembled with good used spare parts. It's coming along nicely. This two stroke360cc engine has the new Wiseco forged 62.5 mm pistons, a HD clutch and some special port work. I intended to make this into a lightweight race car. The body is so nice I may just make it a nice driver, time will tell.
  9. Imagine owning a Subaru 360 that actually works ! View it running, driving, stopping here: Buy it here: E bay item # 14087772865 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140877772865
  10. The Subaru R-2 is a refined Subaru 360. Not all the parts are the same, but somewhat simular. A Subaru R-2 is very rare, as in, you have the only one in the USA. I've never seen a LHD R-2 before. The only place to find Subaru 360 parts is through the Subaru 360 drivers club. You will have to join the club..... as in pay yearly dues. The upside is I bet some Subaru 360 parts will cross http://www.subaru360club.org/forums/index.php?sid=334d03f8c92d1c0058344ebab4a1ff32 Good Luck!

  12. Just kidding, although it does seem to work. Now lets get to work !
