  1. Well, funny you ask. I do have a "new" car with early Subaru simularities. It is very small. It started life as a two stroke, but, it is now 4 stroke. It is a flat 4, small (1600 cc) displacement kinda like a 70's Subaru..... but , not quite a Subaru. In fact, nothing really like one. Except, being super cool, just like an early Subaru. See what you think. http://www.mphspecialties.com
  2. The Japanese rising star ( or sun ) treatment like the nose of this truck sure is intriguing.....

  4. Sorry to leave you hanging, I just now saw this. I always forget to click the subscribe box. Subaru '360's Sedans weigh 900 lbs and are powered by 360cc 2stroke engines. Normal traffic circumstances require full power all the time, but in a fuel mileage contest like this, with no traffic pressures, ( and maybe some areodynamic aids:banana: ) I think they would do pretty good. Here's a video of one of my cars :
  5. Yeah "custom"! Sharp eyes. A ferocious tiger in the center, with roses around the edges engraved in the rear glass of a 360 Sedan. I'm not sure , there must be some meaning there. The pressure is on, your Sedan is next up to be buzzing around PDX.....
  6. Carfreeks.com hosts auto X's, meets, and smack-downs for WRX's in the NW....may want to check them out.

  12. This years GPNW Microcar Extravaganza was huge fun. It is hard to believe two weeks have passed since the big event. The weather held out for the better, and 48 Micro-Mini cars attended. I want to personally thank everyone for coming and making it happen. This years multi-day event held at the McMenimans Grand Lodge hotel in Forest Grove Oregon provided an elegant back drop for all the unique little cars, and great fun for the guests who stayed. Forest Grove will never be the same! The Forest Grove News-Times did an article: http://www.forestgrovenewstimes.com/news/story.php?story_id=124405369458701500 All 5 pages of dramatic pictures can be found in the Microcar.org album here: http://www.microcar.org/gallery/v/Mark+Hatten/ And, of course the official GPNW Extravaganza "You Tube" video can be found here: Enjoy, Mark WWW.MPHSPECIALTIES.COM
  13. The BIG show is this weekend, Corvallis is not far away. Come check out all the micros. www.mphspecialties.com
  14. Thank you. Thank you. You guys are great! I don't know about setting a world record, but, it was fun. I find it very eye opening for me. I can go almost 70 mph, keeping up with traffic with such a little amount of power. I figure I have about 9 rwhp and 12 rwtq at 5000 rpm or highway speeds over 60 mph
  15. I'm glad you liked the video. I wish you well finding a 360.
  16. Yesterday was our first REALLY nice 1st day of spring, to celebrate I dusted off another 360 and made a new video. Enjoy!:banana::banana::banana: :banana::banana::banana:
  17. So right on! Here's a video of a Subaru 360 truck I got going for a client recently.
  18. And, now there's bidding ???? I'm suprised.
  19. Check out how much fun you can have with 360's
  20. Actually, you are right. And,... you are wrong. My 360's are basically stock. I just optimized what I have with some modernization. That was the intent and purpose of the test video. I've been thinking of a dyno test. Just to see what RWHP is. Mods: I do run a electric fuel pump, E.I., 150 psi compression, cold plugs and tuned with a wideband AFR meter, synthetic injection oil, new wheel bearings, new clutch, good alignment, and tire pressure. That is the extent of mods. Pretty basic. NO porting, NO expansion chambers, NO bigger carb, Stock air cleaner snorkel, Stock air filter, Stock muffler, Stock jets, Stock gearing, Stock bore, Stock pistons, Stock log exhaust manifold, Stock fuel tap, Stock needle and seat. As far as being straight with people. Yeah, it' wont do 0-70 in 5 seconds. More like 5 minutes.. it's 360 cc's. For what they are they do great. Hands down the most fun car ever.
