  7. I daily drive mine just to debunk that rumour. 70 mph GPS verified top speed too. See video and prepare to be awed: see and you shall believe!
  8. I have 5 Subaru 360 daily drivers. I rotate driving them. I also service them for a living. 500.$ for a running 8 months ago, what looks like a straight, non-cracked windshield Sedan is a great deal. You can't compare a Subaru 360 to any other car. They have special needs. Contact me if you get serious. www.mphspecialties.com

  12. A stock Subaru 360 sedan weighs 925 lbs. If you can keep the weight near this....it only takes like 125 hp to run a 10 second 1/4 mile. A motorcycle engine would work to keep the weight down, I know a guy with a 600 Katana in his van. It is chained to a stock subie 360 DUMMY-crank, .....dual shifters, dual clutches, 24 forward gears and 6 reverse. Burns rubber wherever he goes, and sounds awesome. PS. Mine weighs 1550 lbs but has 360hp. There is NO need for more power. I can't control what I've got
  13. Here is a topshot http://www.360driversclub.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=571 I would paste a pic here, but not sure how.
  14. No reverse. No torque. I looked into a 1100 GSXR trans plant for mine very seriously.
  15. If you are serious about building a Monster 360 you can ask me. "I've done that, been there......" http://www.360driversclub.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=428 Mark
  16. Hi Soobie gang.! Thanks for all your help. I finally got my car fixed and wanted to report back. I never dreamed what the fix was. Recap: Car is new to me, loaded with go fast goods. Engine started to miss and buck @ low boost ,Could hear loud knocking while Check Engine light would flash but NO code. I was pretty sure the MAF was failing on my '02 WRX with mods and 52k miles. A/F ratio would fall, then level out or go up. Cleaned the MAF. Replaced the MAF. Scratched head. (for 1 week) Found turbo XS piggyback computer tied into main computer Unplugged piggy back. Car runs fine! I assume a fuel map changed somehow..? Anyways. It runs great now. Thanks, Mark

  18. Thanks guys, for the replies. I will check how to clean the MAF. It has a Perrin foam cone filter and intake and maybe oil got in there. The car has full 3" exhaust with NO cats. Not my choice but this is the way I got it. I wasn't sure if MAF failures were common on WRX's
  19. Hi There Subie-groupies. I have 2002 WRX with mild modifications. Recently the turbo started spooling slow especially in 4th and 5th. Now under low vacuum and low boost (0-5psi) it pings real bad and stutters...in any gear.....then the check engine light flashes. I am afraid to boost it. There are NO codes in the computer. I THINK the MAF sensor is bad. With my auto-x ray plugged in while driving and this stutter occurs, the lbs. of air being counted seem low, if I let up on the gas the counts become normal and engine smooths out. I have checked for boost leaks, tested fuel pressure under load, and replaced all the spark plugs for good measure. Any Ideas? I hate to spend $ 275. on a new MAF and find out thats not it. Thanks, Mark
  20. I wanted to do a WRX swap. Not a good fit though, no room for seats,... too spendy & not enough power. Would've been cool to keep the Subie theme.
  21. Hmmm. This car look familiar. There sure are some crazy-subie crack-pots out there. Baahaahaahaha hah hah....! PS. It's getting a modified Mustang Cobra front suspension.
  22. Ok. Thanks Man. You made Sigmaz the happiest man alive. Good to know there are that many van owners. Yeah I can't wait to get the "Speedracer" going. I think it may be the fastest Subaru EVER. Just gotta prove it. I need to figure out how to keep the front wheels from coming off the ground when boost hits. A passenger makes good ballast, but literally soil thier trousers and immediately want out.
