    The Haynes manual that i have merely states that the gearbox overhaul requires specialised tools,hydraulic press,pullers etc.It does show an exploded view of the transmission and information on transmission removal but thats as far as it goes.I do have the equipment to do the repair but am seeking info on diff bearing preloads,backlash,syncro ring endfloat,torque settings etc.

    Gearbox is noisy in neutral,suspect worn bearings and second gear syncro is weak.Does anyone have a service manual or instructions on gearbox overhaul? Thanks in advance.
