  1. Just Pima Community College. I just started 3 weeks ago. Im thinking of getting into Automotive Engerneering Technology. Dunno where though, but since Pima is only a 2 year college, I have time to decide on a 4 year.
  2. Hey guys, I have been searching long and far for Subaru Lovers in the Southern Arizona area, to no avail. They all seem to be senior citizens that drive Soobs! I have a lot of plans and love for my Scooby, and I'd love to share my love for Scoobys with others. Any people out here that get together or have a club I could join? I feel all alone out here....
  3. LOL, Im not trying to make it hard, I swear. Im still learning (taking auto classes in college). I know I need an alignment, but I'll also try the things you suggested. So you dont think its worn motor mounts? It feels like the vibration isnt in any one side, it feels like its from the front and I can feel it more in my seat than my steering wheel.
  4. Ive been thinking of doing that too. The area of the front bumper where the fog lights would go looks easy to cut out. I live out by the mountains where there's very little light, so theyd be useful.
  5. Hey, it's possible. My 93 Impreza gets 35mpg in the city easy. On the highway it's around 40. I am meticulous about maintenance, maybe that's why:D
  6. It has a rebuilt tranny with 50,000 on the rebuild, 1.8L, in all has 163,000 miles. Does it pretty much all the time, cold or warm. Nothing wrong on turns and no noises. I checked on the joints and bearings on Saturday. Didnt find anything.
  7. I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, because I'm not quite sure where my problem is coming from. My 93 Impreza has a horrendous vibration. It's noticeable at an idle, but it's at it's worst at speeds over 50. I've checked my tires, no signs of bulges or a bad tire. I'm thinking it's either bad motor mounts, or something else. Also, the vibration seems to stop and then start again by itself at highway speeds; and I can feel it mostly in my seat, more than in the steering wheel. Help!
