  1. no it was 95 that was a trim package for the legacy, 96 has the lift and aother outback ness things.
  2. thanks scrap, now if i can only figure out whether forester struts are any larger than the OBW struts....
  3. is it possible to use forester struts on an obw, and if so will it acutally give me any lift?
  4. thanks for the info....one more question, i've read about the impreza being lifted with forester struts/springs, can i use forester struts/spring on my outback, and if so will it give me any lift. oh p.s., how badly will having a ocuple inch larger tires mess up my spedometer readings.
  5. If i were to get a lift for my 96 outback, of aobut 3" front and back, would i have to recalibrate the spedometer and how would having the final gear ratios changed form the bigger tires effect the cars handling and power? thanks
  6. while on the topic of older but possibly superior moters i noticed that teh subaru canada rally teram's car is using an engine listed as a 1994ccm 4 cylinder boxer engine which i assume = 2.0 literrs so it would be an EJ20, but are they not using the newer 2.5 or even teh 2.2 fomr the early 90's due to weight or is there another reason?
  7. sorry for my n00bness, but hwy would you trade out the 2.5l EJ25 in an outback for teh older ej22?

i have a wilson fiberglass antenna i got from radioshack, it was 20bucks i think about 5 feet tall, i was tempted to get the 8 foot aerial whip, but just went with the 4-5foot fiberglass one, plus its got an easy tuning rod thing, for tuning it. basicalyl i just losen a screw and adjust the length that this rod sticks out and then tighten the screw again.

http://www.cobra.com/index.php?page=shop/flypage&product_id=5 thats the radio i got, all the controls are in teh handset, and then theres a little transmitter box thats mounted under my dash, it works well since i don't really have room in my sube for a full sized one.
