  1. well what ever the part is called i put new bearings in (all new) , and from what it look like the bearings was spinning inside just the inside bearing was spinning with the race and right where the lugs are at it was very hot:cornfuzz:
  2. well i just got done with re packing them and check on my hub, the bearings was spinning with the race i think i fix them for now but when i got home the hub was very hot again:banghead: :banghead: am very tried of this, i think i got 2 used hubs coming to me, the guy told me that they did not run hot so my hubs my be bad:cornfuzz: :cornfuzz: but am at a loss:madder:

  4. help i just got done with check out the hub , i found the bearing race spinning inside the hub so am sure the hub is bad so any body have both front hubs that are good i need them email me please help:banghead: :banghead:

  6. yeah todd i have the spacer, and the rotor and caliper is not hot just where the bearings are, am re packing them now the axe nut i torque them to 125 ftps :cornfuzz:

  11. i was just thinking do i have to use a press to put in the bearings? the last time i did not i just tap around them to get them in. maybe i did not get them in all the way?? could this be a problem?:cornfuzz:

  13. no this time i did not remove them.but it was only 3 days before when i put them in and at that time i pack them good.i use and good wheel bearing grease for disk brakes hi temp.:cornfuzz:
  14. it has both new axes and i pack them good and they are brand new bearings the only thing is the driver side is a after market hub and the right side is the factory one the driver side runs a little hot not to bad the right side runs very hot today i could not touch it more than one second or it will burn my finger so am at a lost now ?? it may be the factory hub is bad huh

  16. well i put some grease on to the bearings and smash in and did it again and agin till it was just fill of grease it does not smell hot the calipers are not very hot or is the disk just right in the center where the bearings are the drivers side has a after market hub and it is not as hot as the other side (factory hub) if this keeps this up i guess i can put a after market hub on it and try that shoot i don't know?? :banghead:
  17. well i just re pack the bearings with good hi temp wheel bearing grease ever thing look fine but still gets to hot?? the bearings went it nice and tight now what?
