i bought mine for 2,000 and it has no!! rust at all and now i will not sell it any less than 4,500 mine is very good shape no dents and rus great just my thought:-\

if you don't replace the rings i would clean the top of the pistons real good this will help alot :wave:

i just bought a factory carb from 1800-491-2633 it was a redone carb and i put it on my 78 brat and it runs great and there is a guy who has fenders for a 79 brat his phone is 541-729-8490 his name is john bloom i bought 2 front hubs from him hope this helps you:wave:

ok just got done redoing my bearings took them out and re pack them with some good disk grease fix the hub, put back togather andf now it is running warm so am going to just let it ride like this for now and watch it thanks
