As the new owner of a 98 Legacy Brighton 2.2, I could use your advice on two matters. First, I don't know if the valves were adjusted at 100K; since they aren't noisy, do I need to check? Second, I know there is some type of filter in the trans; should I just do drain/fills, rather than risk bending the pan, or do I need to get in there? Thanks for your help:)

Our 98 Brighton 2.2 has given great service since we got it 2mo./2K mi. ago(now has 114K). The only problem is a vibration when accellerating, especially from 25-30 and 35-40 mph. It is worse when the car is already moving, rather than from a stop. Putting the FWD fuse makes no change; I also put the Blizzaks on for winter; no shake at highway speeds or coasting, and no worse when cornering. I'm guessing front end or CV's--all thoughts welcomed!
