  1. I have had absolutely no insight to the cause of this problem. What could possible make all of the windows and sun roof of an SVX stop working, all at once, with good fuses? There is also intermittent buzzing noises (upon button pressing). And it also happened after my rear window as knocked out and it had rained.
  2. All my fuses and relays are good. The switch is good and they don't come on with any combo of his or lows ignition or not. I'll have to check the actual wiring Tuesday when I have a minute.
  3. I used to say "TEE-IN" before this thread actually. Then I changed my mind.
  4. My fogs have never worked. I figured maybe it was just the bulbs. Wrong. I installed new ones yesterday and they still don't work. The switch works. It lights up and everything. Anyone have insight to the problem? I'm guessing the wiring is bad somewhere, but on both lights? Doesn't seem right. I tihnk perhaps I'm missing something important.
  5. whoops. missed you guys yesterday. i picked up a hitchiker. woot. made ten bucks. anyways, no, there was no code, and everything seems to be fine today. the revs pop up slightly when in neutral, but they are low to begin with. completely random event.
  6. I'll have to see tomorrow when I start it up, then I'll get back to you.
  7. something really weird happened to my SVX the other day. generally i know what is going on with the thing, but this kinda freaked me out. okay, so, i started her up after work one night after a very unexpected snowfall, and like usual the rpms sat kinda high while it warmed up. and i waited. the thing got warm but the rpms were still idling at like1600. wtf? so i drove off. i had to put it in neutral at the stoplights because the thing really wanted to go. driving was normal. it would accellerate to about 20 without help, then i could keep it around 2100 at speed limit. the thing that worries me is, i thought this was a sign of a TC that is about to crap out. the part the confuses me is it wasnt slipping at all. pulling very strongly. any ideas whats going on? i have some short video of the tach if you want to see.
  8. whoa lookime i killed the thread.
  9. tons of NikFu pics here.
  10. if you live in anchorage or wasilla, you've seen me. i live on muldoon. moved from jewel lake. before that i lived on college gate for 9 years. whoever said there is no Carls Jr. here, you might be glad to know there is one in Wasilla near that mall and one in Anchorage near abbot. id be glad to give you directions. as for gangs, i dont see it. ive known people involved, but its really not that big of a problem. the valley does have a *HUGE* theft problem. that and other forms of mischeif/violence. being an SVX owner, i cant live anywhere aside from anchorage (which is fine by me) due to the fact octane ratings suck everywhere else.
  11. you are talking about the Outback right? what exactly do you want it to do? the OEM filters are great but if you must change it, a K&N or Green filter could probably work, though you wont notice any difference.
  12. knowing the model and year of the vehicle would probably help in determining what to do with it.
  13. awd and the tranny in general suck up at least 40% the SVXs power. sad but true. first biplanes now a boat. whats next, eh? anyone putting an eg33 into a go-cart?
