At your location you would want to do a 50/50 mix. Just make sure you use distilled water.

Try another distributor.
Check for any play in the distributor shaft.
Other than that it could be something with the fuel system. Filter maybe.

Do you think that would fix "not wanting to go into or out of first gear until it's warmed up"?

Where does your gauge read when it's "normal"? My gauge reads 3/4 at normal. When I use the AC it goes up to the red which is actually 195 degrees which is normal while the AC is running. My gauge is off and yours may be as well.
Take a meat style thermometer and tuck it in along the rad against the upper hose on the pass side and see what it says.

Such a shame, man! Sorry for your loss!!
I just had the leaky injectors replaced on the passenger side of mine last week. They lasted 322,000 miles. It was a good catch by the dealership.

It's probably time to replace the drier. I had the same problem with my RX last year. Don't run it until you do because you might pop a line. I did.

I don't have my own tester, but if it is only 1psi off then its not a huge deal.
Right, no big deal. You should check it yourself before you run it and again after it's broken in. Maybe it'll be closer after you break it in.

One bar is 15psi so it looks like cylinders 1, 2, and 3 are 49psi and cylinder 4 is 48psi.
It looks like the scale is actually reading 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and so on without the dots.
Have you checked with your own tester yet?

That white car looks a lot like my Loyale. Kinda funny to see it leaping out of the air like that.
I've done that with mine a few times. Once was over a dead deer in the road!

Good old factory cassette works for me, just as long as I can plug in the old Pocket PC and play my 6GB of books-on-tape, mp3's, and the occasional CD with the external adapter! Only $20, too.
Imprezas... love 'em...
+1 and there is also an adapter to plug in your cell phone or ipod to play throught the cassette adapter. That's what I've got in my wagon now!!

how in the heck did he survive, didn't look like any room left in there at all.
Most of the damage is on the passenger side because he wasn't directly behind the truck in front of him. He was slightly to the left as if he was looking past the truck. Camera angles go for the most dramatic shot.

I have high beams in my gl10 that wont stay on like the lever is pulled but doesn't click or anything is just goes forward and back causing the high beams to flash. Is this normal? I know in some of the Chevy's my dad owned a burned bulb would do this. One of my low beams is out. Is this the source?
Pulling the lever will flash the high beams. If you push it toward the dash, it should stay in high beam.

Clean out what you can and fill the system with antifreeze and Distilled Water. Flush it in about 3-5k miles and fill it like that again. The distilled water will work on cleaning the deposits.
I've never gotten scale or deposits with distilled water. It helps your hoses, rad, and heater core last much longer as well.

Check compression. It may be a cracked head with a sunk valve.

If it's a manual, it might be a perfect candidate to go electric.

It does sound like a bad rear shaft joint. It's better to check with the wheels off the ground though so it isn't bound in any way.

I think the most noticable difference between the two is the ea81 has a hand-hole in the center of the pull flap and the ea82 doesn't.

Do you have a spoiler on your hatch lid? If so, it's probably leaking there.
EA82 Doesn't need any coolant?!?
