  1. I think that is a great idea. One featured car per episode, I proposed your idea and we are going to do it.
  2. This is something I have been working on with the NASIOC.com / Subaru group. We have created Periodic Review OF Nasioc or PRoN for short. We do it all in our spare time. I think this is the type of thing that makes a community of enthusiast. Maybe we will do one for the SRT-6 group. We have all the stuff. This is for fun, it's not to sell product or make you go to another forum, it's just to show us goofing off. Download Episode 5 Episode 5.wmv - 114 MB Episode 5.mp4 - 136 MB Stream Episode 5 on YouTube: Please send these links to your friends and families via e-mail, snail mail or smoke signals. We are trying to get the views in to the 50,000+ range. Enjoy. Om nom nom nom nom
  3. I got my pugs and they are off to glass beab blasting and gold powder coating.
  4. Well done, any pics or the roll bar build. It's just what I want for my car. It's the perfect addition.
  5. What size rim and off-set did you buy, I'm ready to buy but want to make sure I get the right size and off-set. I know I want a 14" X 5" 6 bolt patter but I need the off-set, do you or anyone else know these measurements?
  6. I need your help again. What size rim will fit my 79 Brat? I know the 13" 14" but how wide and what offset? I'm not doing a lift. Thanks, Scott
  7. Thanks for the info, I'm working on it now. I think I have the horn issue covered. Video of the horn
  8. We are ready to drill for the 6 lug next week. What size rim can I put under the car? I want 14" X 5-6-7" but I need the off-set. Can someone help me please. Here are some picks from the Brat Shop day yesterday.
  9. It's a Ken Block Rally Sparco Wheel. It's just like this but a 2 spoke. Yes, I'm strong.
  10. How do do this? I would like to just buy the HUB for $60 instead of the quick release weld on one for $299. I'm trying to find out what the guts are to the steering wheel and without the car here, I could use some help. The new steering wheel is a 6 Bolt Wheel but the adapters are car specific. Does my 79 share the same internals as any other Gen 2 Subies? Has anyone done this before? Thanks and any help would be appreciated.
  11. I'm thinking of buying a 15 or 14 X 7 / 6 lug but I need to know if a 7" wide rim will fit and how tall can I go? Since I'm doing the conversion, what off set do I need? Scott
  12. This is some great info. Gillman Subaru South here is Houston is helping me with the car and all the work so they can display the car when we are finished. Get this, my wife bought me train horns from http://www.HornBlasters.com with the air compressor so I can run air tools from the Brat. You can't teach women these kinds of things. Back to the hubs, we have a drill press and 15 ton press, it's a huge dealership with all the goodies. I have really lucked out on this deal. I never thought a dealer could be cool but we both have something each other wants. They need to help market an event and they want to display the truck for a few months, I need free labor.

  15. I took delivery today and had a great time driving it. She has some rust and she needs somne TLC. She is at the dealership now and they have offered to help me fix her for free. I got a ton of looks driving her down the freeway. The dealership is really going well beyond what I thought they would offer but want to display her out front while we play with her. She needs some tranny work and rear gear work as I found some leaks but these are easy to fix. She needs bushings and rust repair but over all, I'm very happy.
