  1. good to know, for some reason i thought that the heads were a bit wider.
  2. I have searched very thoroughly but can't find much information on this. I am planning on doing a wrx or sti full drivetrain swap in my ea81 brat. I have found a good bit of information on swapping in the ej20 but not the ej25. Any body have any experience with this? will it be too wide?
  3. theres a good chance that would be interested. will it work on an ea 81 brat (1982)
  4. Im glad to see this back up and running... can't wait!
  5. thanks for all the help guys! sk'o im going to call soon, i just haven't had a lot of time. I'm in the market for parts now
  6. I know that it is on here somewhere, but i can not find it. I want to do a full 5 lug conversion on my ea81 brat. I am confused about which parts i need and what i need to fabricate. There aren't many subarus where i live, so i dont have access to parts to see if i could make them work. Is there a good write up that covers everything on this subject? Thanks, Bryan
  7. I changed the plugs today. The brat was running great. I drove it to the store and everything was fine. on the way home i hit a speed hump kind of fast. It wasn't anything outrageous but did jar the brat slightly. when i came to a stop right after i noticed the engine shut off. Now it will not idle at all. It will run perfect if you give it gas but as soon as you let off the rpms drop straight down to 0. I checked most of the vacuum lines and they all seem fine. spark plug wires are nice and tight. Any ideas I'm lost......
  8. I think the aluminum would be a better choice and would much prefer my set to be made of aluminum
