  1. I replaced the fuel pump and it seems to running OK now.............. I hope.
  2. Every so often my Legacy will die while driving, I've replaced the fuel filter and the igniter and cleaned the ground connections, cleaned the IAC and the MAF sensor. It will die at idle or when I'm on the gas. It starts to miss and will either die or catch and keep running. I noticed that when it happens the Tach will move up and down with the missing and sputtering. I don't hear any clicking like the relays under the dash and I'm NOT getting any codes. This thing is driving me nuts !!!:banghead: It will run fine for a few miles 10 or 20 then start missing and dieing again. It will die whether I am on the gas or coasting as well. I have a new fuel pump, But have not installed it yet. When it does die it will usually start right back up.
  3. My 90 Legacy does the same thing but with out engine codes. Sometimes it will start right up, Other times I have to let it sit a little bit. Sometimes it just misses and other times it dies a together.
  4. I have the factory Subaru Repair manuals and they don't show any radiator sensor.
  5. I replaced the Coolant temp switch, Where is the radiator switch located? there is nothing screwed into my radiator. VSS ??? Translate to English please. lol
  6. 41 degrees, Main fan unplugged, Main fan fuse removed sub fan runs all the time !!:mad:
  7. No defrost, No heat, no A/C the fans come only while driving and stay on. If the car is sitting still the fans will cycle normally and the thermostat stays open. Oh, and it only happens when its cold outside (below 40)
  8. I just replaced the Temp sensor, Thats not it it's still doing the same thing. The fans only come on and stay on while i'm driving.
  9. My Legacy will idle and warm up and thermostat opens, Fans come on and cycle and all is good. Drive it around the block, The fans come on and stay on, Radiator gets cold thermostat closes and the fans keep running but the engine does not over heat????
  10. I just use Blue Magic plastic and Plexiglass polish, it works really well. It works alot better if you use a random orbit buffer with a sheep skin bonnet.
  11. I just changed the O2 sensor on my 90 Wagon. Piece of cake, just drive the front end up on some ramps, You can get to it real easy.
