Here's another problem my boyfriend is encountering with his '84 Brat. He went to use the windshield wipers the other day. Water sprayed out, but the arms don't move. There isn't even a noise to signal that the wipers are trying to work. He checked the fuse and it's fine. What can he do?

I guess I should have mentioned it was an 84. He got as far as getting the glove compartment apart yesterday, but didn't know what to do from there as far as getting it out. Thanks for all the info so far.

Does anyone know how to properly take out the speakers located in the dash next to the vents? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can I find a Weber carb anywhere cheaper? I searched for the specific kind needed for the Brat on Ebay with no luck.

Or so we hope...Possibly Wednesday he is going to pull a carb out of a parts car. He still wants a new filter, not stock. For anyone that has a Brat, what kind of filter do you prefer as I heard K&N might not be all that great. Thanks.

I posted another thread in this forum about my boyfriend's Brat stalling. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could order a carburetor and air filter for a decent price. I was looking around, but not sure what he needs exactly. So if anyone could help me as soon as possible and tell me what kind he needs, I'd appreciate it. He needs it right away. Thanks.

Where can he get one of these? He just called me from work and needs to know as soon as possible because today it completely shut down on him on the way to work and it took a few minutes to work again.

Thanks, guys. I'll tell him tomorrow when I talk to him. Sorry I can't be more specific. I just know that out of nowhere it shutdown, almost like when the battery dies. Yesterday was the first time I rode in it and during 40 minutes, it stalled about 4 times(2 of those were after making a right turn), but he said it doesn't happen every time he drives it.

Hi, I am posting this for my boyfriend (BattleAxeT6) who just bought an '84 Brat. He doesn't have computer access right now so I'm asking for him. The car is in great shape except for one thing: Every once in awhile while driving, the car will stall out. It seems to occur mostly on turns but does happen at other times. What can he do to fix this? It's really not safe for him to be driving around like that, especially if he has constant traffic behind him, he'll probably get rear-ended eventually. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
