  1. Its good stuff, i use it in my rider mowers and push mowers as well as my Subbie and Durango 5.7L Hemi and it has never failed to produce great results.
  2. After reading this long, long thread all i can say is that there are thousands of companies who say their product is the best and as far as them showing you the "facts", those are the facts that "they" show you, what are they suppose to say 'our products suck, dont buy them' nope they will tell you and show you anything they have to, to get you to buy it. Now i have never heard of Conklin but that doesnt mean that its a bad product, but it doesnt mean its a good product either. This all reminds of an oil filter company called Frantz, in semi-trucks who run a Frantz filter can run 1 million miles on an oil change, yes i said 1 million miles and all the filter consists of is a simple roll of toilet paper, and yes you can buy a Frantz set-up for the normal automobile but its very pricey, but once you have it installed all you have to do when changing you oil is pull out the old roll of toilet paper and put in a new roll................no joke, the reason i bring this up is that Frantz has been around for almost 90 years, but i would bet 50%-60% of the members here have never heard of them. So use what you use and we will use what we use and we can all call it square, peace brother.
  3. lol i knew i was forgetting to mention it was a turbo, thanx for the info, i will get right on it, anyway anyone heard from Miles lately, i talk to jim woods every once in awhile, but never see or here from Miles anymore, last i heard he was working at u-haul in Wisconson.
  4. hey guys long time no talk, my new business keeps me busy so i havent had time to get on lately. anyways, i need your expert advice,my daughter just got her lisence and i have been letting her drive the gl-10,well the other morning she starts it and it idles up until it reached the proper operating temp. then idles down, but this time when it idles down to its regular idle speed, at this time it dies, so i let it sit for a few hours while i run some errands then i start it again, it starts, idles up, then idles down, then dies, i havent worked on it yet, i just want to get some ideas of wear to look, seeing how my teenage daughter drives it and we all know how impatient teenagers are as far as cars. thanx for any help
  5. like GD said, its an easy fix, less than an hour, fix it,and get back on the road.
  6. this is the new Blaupunkt CD/MP3 player i installed yesterday,it is the Bermuda series,i also have the XM radio, the speakers i was told, would not fit in the front, but as you can see, they fit like butter,i have an adapter coming from crutchfield for the XM,i also told crutchfield, they need to do more research on the older generation soobies, they apologized for the fixup, any whoo, the setup sounds excellent,no amp or sub, just raw power, this is the best just stereo and speakers without a amp and sub i have ever heard.enjoy
  7. yep, what he said,i had the same issue awhile back, the axel nut washer was on backwards and the axel would come just loose enough to cause the sounds your talking about.im gonna post some pics. of the blaupunkt install, yeehaa sounds sweet.
  8. damn i knew i was forgetting something its an ATX,so its a 23
  9. thanx,it only does it when im in a right hand curve,it hasnt started during a right turn yet,i actaully usaully wait until it starts doing it all the time before i replace one.as far as crutchfield i do love them, the prices were awesome, but atleast 3 techs told me the speakers would not fit,oh well they fit great.lol
  10. thanx for the fast replies guys,25 spline good to know, and sorry i forgot to say its FWD not AWD,right this moment im installing a blaupunkt cd player and speakers from crutchfield, they actually told me the blaupunkt pcbx652 speakers wouldnt fit the front door, they would fit the rear but not the front, man they slide in like butter, perfect fit,you know with all the research they say they do,you'd think they would know if they really did fit lol.
  11. howdy guys i got a stupid question,my drv.side axel is starting to click, the question is what is the spline count o my 88' gl-10 turbowagon, the parts websites list both, but dont say for sure, and also how long will the present one last,i only drive the car 3 days a week and put around 150 on it in that time,i had a 90' prism that had 2 bad axel's and i milked it for believe it or not for 15k miles.so any help would be great, thanx.
  12. im in need of a pass.side rear taillight assy.,some guy ran thru a stop sign and clipped just the taillight assy.let me know what condition its in and how much shipped to 45302
  13. well changed the drv.side inner and outer wheelbearings today, also changed the lower ball joint, ripped the boot, whentaking the steering knuckle off,so just changed the whole ball joint, contrary to popular belief,if you know what your doing you can change the bearings without a press,in fact i have never used a press to change them,a secret a little korean taught me when i was in the army over 'in korea, thanx for all the help, till the next time lol
