  1. I wired the Fafn to run all the time no biggy, now instead of overheating in town it stays at 3/4 where is the thermostat on this car?
  2. swaped the metal plug in the lower part of the rad which im assuming was the coolant temp sensor it was easier to do that than to splice the wire, also i didnt replace the ground, ill go rig one up then see if that fixs it, the fan dosent turn on, not even the old fan, it always runs at 3/4, well ill go rig up a ground, ill be back.. thanks for the help
  3. So this is a weird issue, the car has been running abnormally hot ever since i got it, i assumed it was the rad since it crumbled when you touched it, i replaced with a good working used one from an 86, that dint help... The Car overheats in town but wont overheat on the highways, stays at about 3/4, thermostat? Where would that be on my 85 EA-81 GL? Help!
  4. Is there a good guide out there that can help me with the removal of the axle then?
  5. So My Front left Drive Axle is blown on my 2 door 85 GL EA81. So my Question is, Will a Front left Drive Axle fit my Tranny from an EA82 86 5 speed Gl wagon, mines a 4 speed:)
  6. Just avoid 00-02 no matter how good the deal seems, regardless subarus are one of the most reliable vehicles ever built, so feel confident that in any subaru you buy will be a good purchase and for subaru they do generally have a high resale value but dont worry about that, your not getting a car to sell it, your buying it to drive it till it dies.
  7. 2000-01 wewre basically a transition period, they werent the best, they did come with options, but were, the first years of a new generation, if i were you id search around for a 96 outback, with no rust, that thing is bullet proof and wil last for a very long time, my brother has one, we do regular maintiance but other than that he beats on it pretty hard and nothing happened, the 96 is also a little more fuel effiecent, but by no means is it a honda
  8. If you dont care about age or power, id look for a 96 or 2002, 96 has an ej22 which is extremly durable and reliable, and in 2002 there were some gasket issues that were fixed
  9. Im having so much trouble findin this stuff, originally i was directed to this website, now to legacy central
  10. Im not looking for track suspension but i need some reliable stuff Will any of these fit? http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1512598 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1512479 Thanks for any help, again:clap:
  11. Your right, ill be patient, when somebody gets a chance any help will be appreciated, thanks Ill be back monday
  12. Well im new around these parts but not to subarus, my first car was a 92 subaru loyale and my brother had a 94 loyale, he now has a 96 legacy outback and i have a 1994 subaru legacy turbo AWD in need of coilovers on all 4 corners. Now this is the question, ive been told other subaru suspension will work, i really need some info on where i can get some suspension that will do the DD job and stand up to some abuse, ive been having so much trouble finding parts used its driving me crazy, so if anyone has any useful information for me the help would be forever appreciated. If this helps its AWD, not air ride suspension, and has ABS, i really need suspension!
