Thinking of selling my 15" steel pugs with General Grabber 2 tires. Two of the tires are worn due to camber problems, the other two are great. Are the 15" rare? Thanks, Jeff

Hmmm, thanks for all the info. Maybe i'll wait until I have someone else along to winch me along, as my wife and I were going to go at it alone. I just got my LSD in about a week ago and am wondering how much of a difference it will make? Thanks, Jeff

  4. Thanks, that gives me a better idea on how to make one, or maybe just build a complete bumper! Jeff
  5. Does anyone have any pics of grill guards theyve built? Im trying to figure out how/where they mount for a 85 wagon.
  6. Hi there, I have a compressor that I took out of my 85 wagon that i' ll give away. Im in se portland and can set it out for pick up. Jeff
  7. I have a 85 wagon with an AA 4" lift. Is there a way to get the front camber adjusted so the outside of the tires are not wearing out? any photos or links would help. I read a little about shimming the strut towers but dont really understand....also, does anyone know how to fix the clock, what resister to use? Thanks, Jeff
  8. Does anyone have an opinion on increasing exhaust size on a ea82? I have an 85 wagon that I added a weber and an Accell coil to, and now I'm going to add a turbo style muffler and maybe a 2wd dist. for more low end power? Any help with this would be great, Thanks, Jeff ps, my wagon has an AA 4" lift and 15" Pugs with 27" tires.
  9. sw washington fer sure, lots of oregonians making the drive.
  10. Thank you very much! I figured that the air conditioning fan was enough to keep it cool without a manual fan. Does anyone know what the thermostat might be set at for the electric fan for the air? I guess what I'm asking is if I can just remove the mechanical fan along with the air conditioning(condensor, compressor etc relying on the original electric fan"s thermostat to control the tempeture while stopped etc. Jeff
  11. I'm new to this and wondered if any one can help with how to install a push electric fan? I have a 85 wagon that I want to remove the airconditioning in and leave the stock pull fan & add another push fan to. I dont know how to wire the new fan in, and how the thermostat for the original fan works as far as tapping into it to run the push fan. Also, is there any problem with the defroster working right if you remove the air conditioning? Thanks, Jeff
  12. need to do the rear disc swap on my 85 wagon, then a LSD swap that I'm not quite sure how to do...then planning a trip up to the SLAB in washington!
