  1. Forrester rear brake replacement.

    How difficutl is it to replace the rear brake pads on a 99 Forrester. I replaced the front myself, but I am concerned about the emergency brake cable in the back. Does this pose a huge problem??? Thanks

  2. Drive pole boot-inside front

    My 1999 Forrester has a ripped drive pole {shaft} boot on the inside of the passenger side. How hard is it to replace. Can I by an aftermarket boot that doesn't require removing the drive pole. This is not the cv boot behinde the wheel but the one coming out of the transmission. Thanks

    I need to replace the front pads on my 99 Forrester. Are there any special tools needed to do this??? Thanks Also, are NAPA brake pads good??

    It seems as though Subaru has a problem with head gaskets. I'm taking a survey. If you had yours replaced please respond here with your model, year, and miles (when head gasket was replaced.) Thank You
