  1. Hey, Looking into a 79 Brat... good runner 1.6L clean. Who here in washington could do an EJ swap? and how much $$$? I am not as good of a mechanic as I think I am. Looking for a clean swap. I posted this already but I think I put it in the wrong place...

  3. Hey Bill,

Still interested in that lift however my wife informed me I need to get rid of some other projects first, which this time I acually agree with her. So I will keep in touch with you and we can set something up. Soon I hope. Are you still interested in installing it?

    Thanks,

    -Jake

  4. Oh ya! I almost forgot, discounttiredirect.com has a cool tire size calculator so for instance a 215/75R15 is 27.7" Anyway I thought it was pretty cool. Cheers -J
  5. Thanks Guys... Exactly what I was looking for. Personal experiences. So based on this sounds like I want to be somewhere around 27" depending on how much bashing I want to do cutting will have to be done regardless more or less. Thanks again. -Jake
  6. Alot of good info in the sticky... But did not really answer my question. All the talk of tire sizes but no one says how much lift or trimming they have. I did find something here [url="http://offroadingsubarus.com/faq.html"they say 25"-26" tire with no lift or trimming 28" with 2" lift and small amount of trimming I guess I was looking for some personnal experiences on what actually works I would hate to go out and buy/mount tires only to find that more work would need to be done to make them fit I am not opposed to a little trim here and there to get what I want but I would like to know what I am getting into before I make my choice. Obviously I am not looking an putting 30" tires on a Loyale with a 2" lift although it looks really cool I am looking for biggest I can get away with, with the smallest amount of trimming and bashing and rubbing. So that being said... What do you think. I am skeptical about the 26" with no lift or trimming. Thanks. -Jake
  7. Hey all, what tires would fit on a loyale with a 2" lift I don't have the wheels yet but I am looking at a set of 15" Pugs I have read conflicting things on what fits I would like to do little or no trimming or bashing. Thinking of a set of Uniroyal Liberators from wallyworld seems to be the best bang for the buck. This is a low $ daily driver. Thanks for your input. -Jake
  8. Hey All, What tires would be recomended for a Loyale with a 2" lift? I have read conflicting things about what will fit:-\ As of now I have not got any rims I do have a line on some 15" Pugs and a set of 14" I would prefer not to have to do a whole lot of bashing and cutting and I hear at wallyworld the uniroyal Liberators are on the cheap so what size do you think? Thanks -Jake
