  1. Sorry for this newbie question. I'm on the road and don't have my owners handbook. Can someone help me locate the flasher relay on my '96 Impreza? I have no 4 way flashers and no turn signals and need to fix it. Can't seem to find it. Thanks!
  2. Good thought. Problem is that the lights have been like this for several years. I'm just getting around to fixing it! I'll check the alternator output. I've never had to charge the battery and the car sits unused for months at a time. Seems like alternator failures usually don't take that long to become a real problem. Thanks!
  3. Does anyone know where the ground connection for the instrument panel on my '85 GL wagon is? All my warning lights are always on. Sometimes they are dim, other times very bright, indicating a bad ground for this circuit. I'd like to correct this without tearing the whole dash apart if possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  4. I have an '85 GL wagon that I need to take the instrument panel out of to correct a problem with the warning lights and guages. I suspect a bad ground connection because the warning lights are all on all the time and the guages are inaccurate. How does the surround come off? I have all the screws that I can see removed but the surround seems to be connected somehow on both ends. Help! What am I missing? Thanks in advance.
  5. I have a pristine '93 Impreza with 2wd, a 5 speed and the 1.8 engine. Love the car but it is slow, too slow for me. I would like to increase the performance and driveability without repalcing the engine. Anyone had any experience with hopping up this engine ? Nothing radical, I just want it to be at least adequate for traffic conditions. It is painfully slow, especially with the AC on. Thanks!
