Everytime i get into 4X4 I loose my coolant leaving me overheating out in the boonies. Anybody have any ideas whats going on ? Its my everyday driver and never have any problems unless in 4 wheel drive.

I just ordered rear bushing and rear shocks from Subaruparts.com. I have a 78 Brat and ordered the parts by the actual part numbers. There 81 parts but from what I understand is that these will fit. Mustache bar bushings # = 62004020 Rear shocks # = 621003621 Front shocks # = 621052152 77-78 621052270 78-81 I haven't ordered the fronts yet but will in the near future. Hope this helps. If these fit I'm going to breathe easier when driving all over the hills.

Count me in as well. I just called the guy in Cali and he would need a detailed drawing or an original. Which puts me out. My rar sway bar bushing in non - existant anymore. Not to mention shocks and struts for my 78 Brat.

I recently bought a 78 Brat and have done a few things and ned to do a few more. So today I did a compression check and was all over from 132 - 145. Does any body know what it is supposed to be ? Or where would I look. Nobody seems to have any info at the shops anymore. So it looks like a valve job in the near future. hope I can still get them . . . I'm also looking for shocks, struts, and rear sway bar bushings. Is there anywhere to still get these parts ?
