Hey Earl you wouldn't happen to have a 1600 sitting around would ya, or would you happen to know someone who has one. Looking for a good runner. Mine has the lower end going out nad sound BAD. Still get around though. Kris

Am back in town and forgot how bad the engine sounds. Still drives great though - went to Ellensberg and back the other day and had no problem. But I heard that you have several subies at your place. Would you happen to have an extra EA71 around. I would even be willing to go up to a EA81 and tranny upgrade. Willing to pay for a great set up- eother way. Fuel pump on a 78 Brat should be on the passenger side of the engine compartment mounted on the firewall, below the little shelf. Really easy to replace actually

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier but I just found out that I had replies on my posts. I still can't remember how to make a new post though. But no I live south of town on Gren Valley Rd. I work on the road am currently in LA. But since I can't make a new post I'll ask you. theres a 78 brat in Phoenix that needs a fuel pump. Wheres it located ?
