So far im undecided... Im thinking about selling my '84 GL Hatch but i havent decided. Im in the Seattle area. How much could i sell it for??? its in pretty good shape currently, only some dings and dents on the exterior and a custom stereo w/o the custom speakers. Only the stock speakers are in.

My '84 GL doesnt have a turbo but could i put one on it and how hard would it be if so? Also my engine surges while its idleing.??? What causes that by the way i never knew

Painted my rims white, put on new fog lights, install a cb, put a manual choke on my Weber, put in a new stereo(speakers soon to come), adjust my vacuum hoses and their places, put in my racing seats, lift the car slightly, and now currently looking for larger tires and rims!

theres one leftover wire and its yellow with green, but the Hanes book doesnt tell me what it even does

I dont have just a fuse space for interior lighting so i dont know which one it is

Just great.... i think the electronics just got fried, i tried adjusting a few wires and i saw a small spark and now the radio and the dash lights are out. fml...

ya i have to get new speaks eventually but i still dont know why my dash lights are out now

So i got it all to work, just the fact that i need new speakers cuz the stock ones are complete crap, my dash lights went out completely, did i pop a fuse or is there a wiring component that needs to be hooked up from where all the stereo plugs are? it may just be coincidence but i think it is something more.... Am i missing a plug that i didnt put back?

Trying to put in a new stereo in my '84 hatch but i dont know what wires go where because the Hanes book doesnt tell you... Anybody got a diagram or something helpful?? And should i get new speakers while im at it?

Ok i need a diagram of the Weber Carb 32/36 DGEV because i dont have one and i need to know what all the different parts are off the carb

Ya but when i cover the carb it runs better... Did i crack the manifold somewhere??? i cant see any cracks...

Ok i think its a vac leak because when i cover the top of the carb it runs better, there there is also a swishing noise like right next too transmission.... sooo yeah i have no clue, i was hoping it was just a vac line but its not and i need the car by monday but its not looking so good

The problem is that it sputters in idle as well...

Hey i was having fun and jumped my soob a little bit but the problem now is that it wont stay running...... It has a weber and nothing else special, i may have revved too high??? only to about 5000 but thats it... Idk have any ideas?? Its and 84 GL Hatch

Having carb/choke problems 1984 GL Hatch, Weber carb, it doesnt start very easy when cold, i have to manually push choke flaps down to engage cold start sequence, after it has been warmed and run, it will sit for a couple hours and then i will go to start it and it idles dangerously low and will jump and sputter until warm againincorrect choke setup? please help, school starts tomorrow and i dont want any problems haha

Not getting the gas mileage i should...... im only getting 180 miles per tank on my 1984 GL Hatch. Put the Weber on a few months ago and its been bad on gas ever since, ive asked some local shops if they can tune the carb and motor and they said they dont mess with carbs so im in the dirt at the moment.... anything i can do????

Ya check for that ball that GD was talking about, i almost lost mine when i rebuilt my carb, i ended up just getting a Weber
