I bought 4 and i will dismantle all of them. I get a new machine - only 67.000 kilometers driven(40000 miles) in one of them - it is already in my car. Nebivedu

I have regular suspension. I would like to change it to air suspension with small addition - strings. I will change the lover side of struts and put strings on and fill them with air. Is it possible to do something like that? Nebivedu

Hello i am from europe too, but from small country named Slovenia. In our country you can not have tires that are not written in homologation. You can not change something in your car, without enter the changes to homologation and you must pay aprox 50$ for everything that you change on you vehicle. So i can not have 15" tires on my suba, because in homologation are written only 13". If the police stop you on the road and you do not have changes writen in hmologation, they could take registration plate from your car and you must not drive with it until all the changes are written to homologation. But the gas in our country has 95 or 98 octans, the price fo 1 liter is 1.06$, that means that for a gallon you will pay approx 4$. But the water pump cost me 77$ and the whole car Subaru GL 4WD y85 cost me 103$.

Hello i am from Slovenia(Europe) and i will try to find some data for you from european cars, if you like.

Yesterday i changed sparks, oil 20W50 and oil filter, air filter. Till now i created 200 miles and the sound is the same as before. I will try and add one liter transmission oil 75W-90. Can this make some changes?

Here in Europe the Subaru and Porschee work together on boxer diesel engine. That is just word of mouth.

I am first owner of this car and I have VIN: JF1AK5BL0CE212200 The car is y 85 GL 4WD wagon with carb and EA82 engine and 5sp gearbox Once, when i try to get some parts, they ordered parts for legacy, secondly they ordered parts for sedan. Can someone tell me what this numbers mean.

How can I fix this problem? When i change oil in the EA82 machine, the motor runs quietly, but after 800 miles it start to run as before i changed oil. Oil is shell 15W40. How can i change last wheel bearing? Can someone put here the pictures of lift kit for 85 GL wagon? I already lift it cor 2 inches, but i,d like to lift it for 5" The suba is 85 GL wagon vith carb EA82 and 5sp. gearbox.

I have 85GL with EA82 engine with 1 gen head. Suba has 310000km with no problems. The only problem was back differential, which was 20000 miles without any lubricants. Is there any difference on heads between EA82 with carb and EA82 with MPFi? I am sorry about my english, because it is not my native language.

What are noticeable differences between those two engines?

As a new member in your community, i say hello to all. I live in smal country in Evrope called Slovenia. Your site is the best of all sites about subas. I red yours threads for 6 months and i learn many thigs about subas I am an owner of an 85 GL wagon 4WD. I just lift my suba for 2", everythig else is original. Suba has 290.000km, but it is in fune condition.
