My OBS foglights are very dim. Been told that the reflectors are shot. Anyone ever hear of such a thing and if so know how would I repair/restore them? thanx, ken

Dude Fix it quick. We're replacing our '97 leggy wagon 2.2 because of a stuck thermostat. Warped a head in less than 4 hrs and now have a leaking (blown?)head gasket. Only got 198,00 and change little perturbed cause we heard these motors are bulletproof and were hoping for 200k before any nickle and dime stuff.Waiting on a '96 OBS w/a '99 2.2 and 5spd now. good luck! kdub

Hey all!, We've got a '97 Leggy Wagon LS and today the release for the fuel door stopped working. The door is flying in the wind-the little piton that is supposed to lock it shut appears to be stuck in the retracted position. I sprayed it best as I could with wd40 tonite. Any other suggestions or tricks on how to fix this? thanx kdub

just had the drivers side cv done. the car now shakes and the sterring wheel vibrates (ocillates?)almost almost to the point of being wretched out of my hands!! it did not do this before the work was done. any ideas what to tell the mech. other than "FIX THIS #@|!!* THING"? thanx kdub

I have a '97 Legacy Wagon that hit a snow bank before I bought it. The front bumper cover was replaced. Private sale. The mech is a dealer mech and did the work on the car at the dealership. Its been measured out and is straight. My hood however sits cockeyed -one side higher than the other and kinda crooked. Does anyone know how these parts (left\right fenders, hood, headlights, bumper cover) fit and are adjusted so I could try to at least get my hood straight? Also does the front bumper have "shock absorbers" and could they be misaligned leading to this problem? Thanx, kdub

Guess I jumped on this thread late-didn't want to step on toes- I am also looking for a factory stock cd player. My reason? Unless you go sat'lite or uber high end with the vidgame pinball displays the radio section on most after market gear sucks.I'm talking pioneer sony blau ect. Live in ruraul N.E.K.VT. and you need a good reciever to pickup anything other than the local kicker station. Need the rad to get VPR, and CKUT (90.3) out of Montrebec -I think they stream -good station. thanx, kdub

Graig, thanx-your answer leads to my next Q?: Where can I find a chart or post of the various years specs that would include things like anti roll dia. suspension compatibilty changes thru the years-intake,exhaust, wheel sizes and the like- these cars seem to be almost cross model plug and play searched for a while and found close to nada-anyone have better luck than me (I hope!) anyway thanx again-theres a wrecked wrx I got to check later, kdub

Will wrx springs and struts fit a '97 Legacy wagon? they appear to be only 100# or so apart wieght wise. Looking for loooow buck (got 3 boys) hop up for the suspension. thanx kdub
