another dub conversion
i have a vanagon heater box up front and goes to the floor and windsheild. i made a bypass for the stat so the heat can go up front.its awsome.alot of vw people dont like it but im the one that restores everybodys rusty cars and paints them so i can get away with it some:grin:

i came home today and there is an xt6 in my yard!its my friend chris. he loves to go wheelin.usually with the vw group.if there were more subs that would be fun.im in tummwater so is chris.now clay too.he has an outback.

fixed it.,the maf ohmed out ok but wasent workin AT ALL. GOT A NEW ONE TODAY AND SHE HAULS rump roast AGAIN!. i also bought a 90 maf,its aluminum.and new looking. can you just swap them? anyone? or use one off another vehicle. can you do stuff like that?.guess ill find out.

so where do i post my question about running rich?like the correct place? im going to check the fuel pres. reg.and the fuel return something,in the fuel pump.i run the stock scubi fuel pump and sender.all injectors are new and pump too.

yep,91 2.2.,well after searching the forums it sounds like it could be anything. i have extra everything so ill try swapping things.everything i check ohm wise checks out good.ive checked the o2,cts,maf,iac,all injectors are new subi. what else?i got an iac code once[24].guess ill keep checking... oh, the problem... its running rich.like a half gallon in two minuts.- my first post

cool site,came here to find info to a problem.just about everything i have needed is here. here is my bug- my first post
i dont have a vanagon but a bug with a 91 2.2.it has been alot of fun till now.i got the conversion done in march last year,took it to burningman and al over the place.fun fun.it doesnt run well at the moment.its running rich.very rich.sucks about a half gall in about two minuts.so im here to find the problem. i built my own harness,soldered every splice and shrink wraped.ran good for 6000 miles.been checking all the sensors.anywayz here to find more info cool site. heres my bug - adding conditioner,2.5
