I wish I could post pictures,the car I have is smashed up to the strut tower on the passenger side, the drivers side is fine. the strut tower/mount is bent inward toward the center of the car and back just a bit,I didnt notice this at first as it still rolls and steers fine, I was thinking I could cut all the bent metal off to just infront of the strut tower. But now that I see it is bent I might have to cut the whole front end off and build a Jig like what you were talking about to line it up at the "frame rails" or possibly bend it back then give it an alignment.
