Is a '97 auto trans swap to a '00 a simple bolt in

Blacky posted a topic in Subaru Transplants

I have a line on a cheap 2000 Outback with reasonable mileage but it has a blown tranny. I have 2 dead '97 Outbacks in my yard with good transmissions. Will the '97 tranny bolt up with no other mods to the 2000 engine? Thanks
