  1. I have used a few gallons of aluminum aircraft stripper that you should be able to find at any auto parts store along with a heat gun as mentioned and a scraper and drill with a wire brush. That worked well on an old project of mine.
  2. Welcome from VA. There is a good Subaru base in NC.
  3. A few of the other Suabru's look like memebers cars from Subaru-Central over there. I'm on that forum as well. Welcome
  4. Martinsville,VA. Home of the shortest track on the NASCAR circuit. Good Year blimp taken from my driveway during the race. Teasers of a few of my Subies
  5. Hello to a another member that is close by. I'm not quite an hour away from G'boro. You mention another forum based for the Charlotte area, I'm assuming CCSC? I'm on there as well. There is also another NC forum that focuses on the Triad/Triangle areas and towards the coast, Flat4NC.com.
  6. Hello everyone, I have been around since before the great NASIOC and Impreza Club split. I have owned 6 Subaru's over the last 13 years. None of which met their demise at my expense. Current cars are a '04 STi (shopcar/track car) and a '99 Outback for DD. I am a former LEO and I have worked at the local Subaru dealership here for over a year now. I am also partly involved with a performance shop in Fayetteville,NC in which we do a variety of perfromance work and tuning in house. Recently, I have come across a huge stock of Subaru parts, both older and newer. I have found a few parts in the WTB threads in my storage. I am still sorting this stuff out and I will be posting these items for sale in due time. Mods and Admin, please understand this is not dealership nor our shops inventory, if it were, I would follow the appropriate vendor protocol.
