  1. Hi all, I have been offered some headgaskets, the guy say's they are for a 2.0 uk spec 95 legacy wagon. How can I tell if it's right? is there major differences between 2.2ltr and 1.8 gaskets? regards Tom
  2. Is there an on line Vin decoder for UK/ European models or a document which says how to do it. I found some North American sites but there seems to be a problem with my vin and their decoder. I really only want to know which engine is fitted to my car (Legacy estate "N"reg). regards Tom
  3. Hi all, I have a 1995 Legacy Estate with a factory fitted Panasonic RDS head unit, I now want to fit a CD Changer unit, which models can I use and where on the car was it fitted originaly? Is there factory wiring in place? Regards Tom

  5. Hi all, What would be the best workshop manual to get for a 95 Legacy GLS 2.0 ? I have seen a few "manuals on CD" in Ebay, but sometimes these are really crap! Are there any good ones out there? suggestions please? regards Tom
  6. Hi all, After a run, and then sitting at tickover, what would cause both the top and bottom Rad hoses to be sucked flat? regards Tom
  7. Sorry! I should have made it clear. The top rad hose had been replaced because it had blown due to overheating. This is a 2 ltr engine, And it still overheats now! regards Tom

  9. Hi all, I'm a newbi to this forum and to Subaru's! There is a 1995 Legacy GLS I am interested in and it has a recently replaced top rad hose, (owner say's it was the first time ever it overheated) should I continue to be interested or move on? the rest of the car looks ok. Could we be talking big bucks here? regards Tom
