97ej22

Its a 97 impreza obw with a ej22 5spd with 126k miles

Idk how old the filter is I've never had a reason to look at it and it normally drives the same every day

Unplugged it and it ran a lil better for like 5 mins then went back to what it was doin

Hey everyone my car has a cel and I took it to the shop to find out why...find out I got 4 codes. 2 o2 sensors map sensor and some starter switch code...a week or so goes by I bring my car to the shop to get the o2 sensors done because I didn't feel like doing them... pay the guy get the car back runs fine for a few days get in it to go home from work and it won't stay runing idles at 1500 then drops to 1000 rpm and sounds like its missing on 3 cylinders really bad give it some gas and it clears up for a min then does the same thing....I call my friend get him to drive it home since he could keep it runing some how puts his obd2 scanner on it and tada 11 codes... I don't remember all of them but one was the map sensor one was the o2 sensor one was the maf sensor again the starter switch thing. A cylinder miss fire and it goes on I don't remember the whole list ...what do u guys think junk it and get something else or fix it and if u say fix it where can I get some sensors cheap

On top of my 2 o2 sensors I need a map sensor as well...does any one know where I can get one at a decent price? Thanks in advance

I have some codes on my car and 2 of them are o2 sensors and idk how hard they are to get out or to reach does anyone have any diagrams of where they are

Went to go take care of my wheel bearing and messed up I believe the spindle...I have a picture of it but idk how to post it so if some one could help me out with that I would appreciate it a lot...but does anyone know where I can get this by 2marrow

No real noses when I turn the wheel just gets hard to turn like worse then not having power steering and yea my car is very odd it fixes its self some times and I don't know how but I do need to do breaks...pretty bad but they don't squeal Thanks

Lately I've noticed that when I turn my wheel it binds up and clicks then gets easyer to turn What could be making that noise...also when I'm backing up my car makes a squeeling noise Thanks in advance

There ngk plugs and bosh wires and I have a bunch of codes I think but I'm not sure what they are for its been a while since I had a computer on it

Sup usmb its been a while... Anyway I need to do a clutch in my 97 obw and I was thinking about doing a little beefer than stock replacement but I'm not sure where I should go to look at them. And the misfire question I've been noticeing it happens a lot when I just drive the car but it still makes rpm but when it rains really bad or just rains the misfire is really bad and I'm not sure what it could be since I relplaced the plugs and wires last year Thanks in advanced for any feed back

Ill be more worried about a big break upgrade rather then suspention I know some pretty fast cars on stock suspention and stock breaks

I would love to do a swap like this but id never be able to getta ej22t motor for cheap...and I'm only worried about motor and trans not suspension stuff

Idk. I've never rly heard of reground cams... so idk wat to expect...is there any prefromace stuff for this motor that I can do with out haveing to send the block out to get punched over or something like that

This is all pretty intresting and got me to do some thinking...is there any performance stuff for a 2.2 like cams (not reground ones or what ever) or other farly minor things I could do to build some more steam?

I'm thinking about swaping a sti motor into my 97 obw I was wondering if anyone had anyidea what I might be gettin my self into money wise along with wat I'm gonna have to change (motor/trans) and what year would be best bang for my buck type of deal Any imput would be helpfull thanks in advanced

The heats been like this since I got the car...about a year ago its been vacuumed plenty of times
