ea82 overheating problem
Reading your original post I have to ask this question. If the guage jumped to hot as soon as it started are you sure it's not the guage itself? Is it actually overheating or is the guage just indicating that it's overheating? Just a thought. Good Luck

Show off your roos Mileage!
My Rubie (1991 Loyale, 1.8, 4wd, 5 sp.) has 220,056 original miles. Runs like a champ with the exception of a little lifter noise now and then and hitting the deer at 45mph took out the AC. She did overheat one day coming back from seaside just before the summit on a hot summers day but I think I have that figured out. She does fine on the flat, sips gas and is a good old gal that treats me right.

91 Loyale front hub castle nut. HELP!!!
I am trying to replace the front inside CV boot and can not get the castle nut loose. This is on a 91 Loyale 1.8, 5sp, 4wd. Is this possibly a left hand thread? I am useing a 1/2" drive 36mm socket and a breaker bar, with a prybar through the studs for the lugnuts to keep the hub from turning and have gone as far as putting a jack under my breaker bar and still it will not break loose. HELP!!! it's my daily driver and surfmobile and I need to get Rubie back on the road ASAP. Thanks for any advice I get. Love this site and my Rubie. I am new here.
