  1. OK I HAVE A 92 LOYALE WAGON 4WD AND WAS JUST CURIOUS ON WHAT A GOOD PRICED AND GOOD PERFORMACE SHOCK WOULD BE FOR MY CAR. I HAVE ALREADY ORDERED THE KING SPRINGS FROM PRIMITIVE RACING AND I AM JUST LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT GIVES A GOOD RIDE AND WILL HOLD UP ON A LIL BIT OF OFFR-OADING. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT KYB SETUPS FOR SHOCKS AND STRUT ASSEMBLIES, THERE ABOUT 50-80 BUCKS PER WHEEL. BUT I WANTED TO SEE IF ANYBODY ELSE HAS HAD SOME EXPERINCE WITH A GOOD SHOCK SETUP. I HAVE NEVER REALLY DONE SHOCKS BUT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY WORK AND HOW TO INSTALL. ANYWAYS ANY GOOD HELP IS APPRECIATED....THANX

  3. OK SO I HAVE A 2.5L THATS GOING INTO MY 92 LOYALE I HAVE IT ALL READY TO GO WITH SJR ADAPTER KIT , XT6 CLUTCH KIT , PERRRIN LWCP, ETC, BUT BEFORE I PUT IN THE ENGINE I WANT TO SEE WHAT OPTIONS I HAVE FOR A RAIDIATOR FOR MY 92 LOYALE. SCOTT FROM SJR LIFT HAD MENTIONED TO ME THAT I WOULD NEED A DUAL CORE RADIATOR FROM AN EA82 TURBO MODEL. I WAS JUST CURIOUS IF THERE WAS ANY SPECIFIC YEAR, MAKE, OR MODEL THAT WOULD JUST SWAP OUT WITH THE SINGLE CORE STOCK LOYALE RADIATIOR THATS IN THERE. I WANT TO MAKE THIS AS EASY AS POSSIBLE FOR FITTAMENT. ONCE I GET THE RIGHT RADIATOR I GOING TO HAVE EJ INLETS BRAZED ONTO IT:grin: THANX GUYS AND GIRLS AND LETS MAKE THIS A USMB EFFORT..........

    PEACE..........

  4. here is the engine bay after i pulled the 1.8l out and degreased the engine bay. it turned out pretty good looks really clean.:headbang: the only other thing i will do before the engine goes in is that i will replace the c.v. axles. they were on the car when i got it and the boots look craked and one is ripped on the pass side. 130.00 for replacements A1 Cardone from summit racing. should be a good investment.:headbang:

  5. Went to SJR LIFT TODAY:banana: PURCHASED MY EA TO EJ ADAPTER KIT, wich includes a re-machined flywheel to fit the ej series motor, engine to transmission adapter plate, and all necessary hardware. Most people dont get to go to the shop, they just order online from scott. i got to meet him and hes a really cool guy and has some sweet riggs. THANX AGIAN SCOTT, hope to be helping you out reall soon. so here it is on my 2.5l. the blue x's are torque sealed so i know that they have been torqued to the right ft lbs.:slobber:<a href=IMG00472_20110209_1455.jpg' alt='IMG0047

  6. Here is a picture of the engine once i got it cleaned up and ready to put in.

This engine has a Perrin light Weight Crank pully, Perrin Oil pressure adapter, Gates Racing Serpentine Belt, Injen Cold air intake, Ralli-Tek Piggy Back ECU (within wiring harness) wich is a black box add on to the ECU to control ignition + - and A/F ratio along with Diffrent maps for diffrent stages of tuning. it is super clean and has been rebuit with new headgaskets, thermostats, Seals all around and full synthetic oils everytime. and i did the timing belt when the headgasket was done about. 15000 miles ago:grin:

For a naturally aspirtated subaru engine its got some grunt:cool:2k0m86nk4

  7. I HAVE A 92 LOYALE PUSH BUTTON 4WD. I ORDERED THE EA TO EJ ADAPTER KIT FROM SJR LIFT. BUT NOW IM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING A NON OEM REPLACEMENT CLUTCH FOR MY SWAP. JUST CURIOUS IF ANYBODY HAD ANY SUGGESTIONS ON SOMETHING THAT WILL HOLD UP OR EXAMPLES OF CLUTCHES THEY MIGHT HAVE USED IN A LOYALE SWAP IN THE PAST. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED. THANX

  10. ok so here is the deal. I have a 02 impreza wireing loom (complete) with ecu and cruise control box, etc. and i am looking for someone who i can send it to and have the wiring loom cut down to control a 2.5L SOHC Motor US SPEC out of a 02 impreza RS. I just need the engine control no transmission or anything like that. This motor will be put into a 1992 Subaru Loyale 4WD 5 SPEED E82. any help is appriciated.

  11. ok......... so here we go...........

i have the complete wiring loom for the engine for a 2002 subaru impreza us spec 2.5rs 2.5L SOHC Engine, it came complete from the donor car. i plan on putting it into a 1992 subaru loyale. so i am just curious as to what to keep within the wiring loom and what wires need to be spliced from the wiring loom to the ea82 loyale. i am looking for specific and detailed info on this i cant seem to find it anywhere online. i looked into having it done by Numbchucksconversions.com but he only went to the model year of 2001. i wrote an email and am waiting on a resopone. if ur out there numbchuck hit me up. Thanx for any help guys.....happy modding.

  12. i have a question for ya. i have a 1992 subaru loyale 1.8L spfi us spec. and am swapping a 2.5l sohc motor into it. i am taking the ecu and wiring from doner car and have the adapter plate for the transmission to use the loyales drivetrain and machined flywheel to fit ej series motor. my question is do i need to upgrade the fuel pump from the loyale 1.8l spfi to make the 2.5l motor work? the 2.5l motor is efi and the loyale is spfi. so i guess my question is will this fuel pump work for the Efi 2.5L SOHC engine or do i need to upgrade it. thanx
