  1. Looks like you've got as many posts on here as I do..... This Group looks like the IIC format now. That's cool. I can navigate it better now
  2. The Current Indiana Impreza Club "Subaru Dark Meet" 10/13/11 This is a picture of 1/2 the guys that showed up. Total count: 185 \/ \/ L-R> The Yazel / Me / Conor Daly (Derek Daly's Son) \/ \/ My Car: Indianapolis is grieving the loss of Dan Wheldon. \/ \/
  3. Agreed. The 2.2L is bullet-proof. Both of my Dealership Subaru Mecanics (both with 30+ years with Subaru) swear by this engine. My Grandmothers 97 Legacy L, which I did not inherit, is still running strong with Zero maintanence. My Slacker cousin never changes the oil and never takes it in for Service. I Swear I'm Stealing this car back one day. It should have been mine in the first place, he can have the sterling silver /rant/
  4. My Opinion: Buy the 2.5i with the CVT. Subaru / CVT / Justy. Audi applied it to FWD. Nissan applied it to FWD. Subaru applied it to AWD. No complaints about the CVT so far. Oh yeah....I did have one lady call me a liar. She got 35.7 mpg on her way from Indianapolis to Louisville, KY. (I told her she would only get ~ 33 while the Sticker said 29)
  5. That was a joke. The sunlight was shining and reflecting off the bottom of the Legacy, and it looked like I (could claim) puddle lights. ** I don't think it went over very well. ** My original post was a calculated risk. Well thought out. And exactly what I wanted to convey. Dude. Everything is cool with me. Yes....The 05 Legacy GT's have had Turbo Problems. I was SO GLAD I bought the Extended Warranty for my LGT....I had the Turbo Replaced at 70K miles. Noah....I'll reply to you in Seahawk Green, just like the stellar uniforms they wore last year: I promise to "tone it down" for you. Cause you're an "Old Guy" like me. We have to stick together. Because when our Social Security runs out, all we will have left is "us".
  6. Wow. My first contact with an Admin and the word "Banninated" is used. Please tell me this forum isn't like NASIOC. I'm not an elitist. I don't fit well into that group. I'm just not smart enough. So....Turbone is "The Ban-Hammer"..??
  7. Cocky...yes. But not too cocky to have my first response come from a guy with a profile picture of himself drinking in a non-Subaru. Not SPAM either (fella). You guys are right though....Life's Paths are different here in Indianapolis. Mid-Life Crisis cars are different for this city. It's not easy being a Car Guy in Indianapolis. Not much going on here. Just the Indy 500, Brickyard 400, MotoGP, and Formula 1 (couple years ago). Not to mention...The Colts, NCAA Final 4, Super Bowl Hosting City in 2012. And the IndianaImpreza.com club.....which I host. We went through 55 pizza's in 20 minutes....that's a lot of Subaru Guys eating a lot of pizza. ---> xbeerd: Correct. EZ5 is the current FHI code for the SIA platform. I like you
  8. Hi Everyone..!! My Turbo has "Puddle Lights".... You like that? How many of you other Subaru Owners can claim that one..?? OK.....about me: Dave Viagra Male from Indianapolis who drives a Station Wagon as his "Mid-Life" crisis car. Of course....it's not just any other Wagon. It's a 5BG = 05LGTLTDWGN5MT . OBP You guys know what that is? I bought it brand new Nov. 2004 It has 81k miles on it. (1 of 108 built) I'm just testing your Geek Factor since this introduction thread has the following thread included in it: "Car Stolen" Seattle Area I conclude this forum is pretty laid back and the admins are very....well....accepting. Have a good day...thanks for letting me in.....and may all you enjoy your EZ5.
