  1. Naw. On unplowed steep roads (with misc. deer running about & deep edges) speed is about 20. Although it does look like a commercial with snow billowing about the hood!
  2. The last bigger storm on the Peninsula required the use of the wagon to get around!
  3. Second bit of snow in Port Angeles this winter, didn't even have to shovel a thing. Need some real snow tires for anything more than this. The driveway is a bit steep.
  4. Yup. Works great too. Crappy radio reception in the sticks anyway!
  5. Yup! Works great too. Haven't got around to pulling the heater core or flushing it out to get a little heat. Just enough out of the stock heater to barely defrost the window.
  6. Patched the cracked dash and covered with some leftover thin carpet. Filled the missing vents with a bit of sky! Still needs a bit of work to cover the cracks in the visible edges
  7. Thanks. I'm sure that will be a big help!
  8. Just bought a one owner 83 brat from a Farmer. He "fixed" a cooling fan problem by hooking the fan direct to the battery. Since he used it in his orchard he just got out and hooked the fan up when he drove into town. Geez! I bought a new thermocouple sensor, but don't know where the wiring is in the harness to hook it up properly. (ordered a manual, but can't wait till it arrives!) Some question: Is there any relay between the sensor and the fan? I'm assuming the sensor is on the rear of the block, passenger side. The wire for it goes into the wiring harness, but don't know where it comes out to connect to the fan. There are two fans (it has AC, disconnected of course!) One with a shroud on the passenger side, and another in the center of that appears to be for the AC. Not sure which one is the main fan. I have a 2003 WRX wagon, and this one is certainly waay more mellow! David
