  1. Need a recommendation on local yards with good selection and prices. Will be in Willamsburg for the holiday and was hoping to pick up some needed items.(ABS hyd. unit, interior stuff, etc.) Car is 2nd gen legacy. Thanks for any help! Bill
  2. Hey ~ Just wanted to let everyone who is looking for parts know about a great OEM supplier on the EAST COAST! Fred Beans Subaru in Doylestown PA has a great parts guy by the name of Tristan. We purchased a '95 Legacy on Ebay with all kinds of problems (not disclosed prior to purchase). One MAJOR item was the VISCO DIFF ASSY & Tristan was able to hook us up with it for under $400 - the lowest price we've EVER seen on that item!! He has been great to deal with! Super friendly & service oriented & has gone out of his way to see that we got our parts SUPER FAST!! In most cases with our order, we have had the parts the next day. If you need great parts @ great prices - call or e-mail Tristan at 800 220 2141 or tjsmith@thekingofparts.com For those who are looking for mods, he can also help with those - check out his webpage at: http://www.thekingofparts.com/ Good luck to all looking for parts & our thanks go out to Tristan for all his help in getting our wagon back on the road! You Rock, Tristan!!
  3. Not only can Tristan help you - he will!! We bought a '95 Legacy on Ebay with several problems (including torque bind). Tristan hooked us up with the best deal on the "Visco Diff Assy" I have seen EVER!!! Less than $400 bucks shipped to our little town in WV!! Not only that, he shipped SUPER FAST!! If you need Subie parts - e-mail or call Tristan @ Fred Beans Subaru - he is the BEST! You can't beat his price or his service!! YOU ROCK, TRISTAN!!! For all you folks who are into mods - see his webpage http://www.thekingofparts.com/
  4. I've got 250k on my clutch,91 legacy awd wagon. Probably 70% of driving was interstate. Problem is transmission bearings are going, but no clutch slippage yet.
  5. I recently had my exhaust break in the same place. Got all kinds of outrageous quotes from dealer and aftermarket ($400-650). I had about given up when I remembered that I hadn't checked with the local NAPA store. They had it in stock and it was only 200 bucks. My subie is a 91 wagon and does not have the rear o2 sensor like yours, but its worth a check to see if they have it for that cheap.
